He Cares

Is there ever a time when you wonder;

When you feel that your heart holds a pray'r;

When you feel deep within you a longing;

A longing for someone to care.

I want to tell you, to tell you that He cares,

He hears the smallest, the smallest of your pray'rs.

And there's a purpose, a purpose just for you

If you trust Him, He'll surely see you through!

Is there ever a time when you're searching;

For a faith that you know to be true;

For just one thing, just one thing to cling to;

In a world that seems hopeless to you.
