Although during the 1960's in the UK, the pop groups that spring to people's minds are The Beatles, The Kinks, Herman's Hermits etc. one of the many groups that popped up was The Joystrings which was made up of members of The Salvation Army.

The most well known of the Joystrings who continued until July 1969 Bill/Sylvia/Joy/Peter and Wycliffe
